My mother, Pauline Finney, has been a resident at Newport Heights Manor since November 2004. The staff have gone far beyond what I would expect of a board and care facility. Once during her stay she had to be hospitalized and had to go to a nursing home after the hospital stay. After few days of care at the nursing home, Mirela, the administrator at Newport Heights Manor, along with my mom’s doctor, assured me that at that point in time she was receiving custodial care and they would be able to care of her. Not only were they able to take care of her but in short time had got her from being bedridden to being partially ambulatory with the help of care givers and physical therapy.

I would recommend this facility to anyone with this kind of need. It is always clean and the residents are well taken care of.

Newport Heights Manor has been a wonderful choice for our father’s care and comfort. The house is beautiful, clean, well-appointed, and in a ideal location. The staff has been professional, accommodating, and understanding of our father needs and wishes.

My mother, Janet Gage has been residing at Newport Heights Manor for the last 3 years. Both she and I have found the staff to be very helpful as well as knowledgeable and courteous in their duties. They are quick to respond to any problem, be it large or small. Her needs are attended to in a prompt manner and many times the staff members have gone out of their way to help her with any request she may have. She enjoys her meals and her health has improved since moving into the facility. Her medications are properly administered and if there is a problem of any sort I am notified immediately. The homes are kept clean and safe. The lush vegetation on the property gives it a very homey feel and adds to the ambience. The grounds are beautifully kept and pride of ownership is apparent.

My mother and I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful place. A place where we feel assured that she has proper care and, more importantly the love and support of people who really care about her.
